چکیده

This paper aims to provide a review of the current literature on durability textile-reinforced concrete and mortar (TRC/TRM) composites. Most previous studies have focused role chemical attacks, freeze-thaw conditions, high temperatures mechanical performance these Information long-term TRCs under synergistic action environmental loads is scarce. Considering variety fabrics matrices used for production TRC composites, existing data are still very limited comprehensive needed in this field. Additionally, due lack standard procedures, different approaches often followed or post-ageing tests, sufficient curing preparation procedures not provided. These led incompatibility some cases contradictory results materials.

Textile Reinforced Concrete – Realization in applications

Textile Reinforced Concrete (TRC) is a composite material made of open-meshed textile structures and a fine-grained concrete. Comparable to steel reinforcement the textile fabric bears the tensile forces released by the cracking of the concrete. Only a minimal concrete cover is required for the bond of the textile fabrics. Thus, the application of TRC leads to the design of filigree and lightwe...

Durability of Fiber Reinforced Concrete of Marine Structures

The usefulness of fiber reinforced concrete (FRC) in various civil engineering applications is indisputable. Fiber reinforced concrete has so far been successfully used in slabs on grade, shotcrete, architectural panels, precast products, offshore structures, structures in seismic regions, thin and thick repairs, crash barriers, footings, hydraulic structures and many other applications. This p...

Marine Durability Characteristics of Rice Husk Ash-Modified Reinforced Concrete

This paper addresses the potential use of Rice Husk Ash (RHA) as a cementitious material in concrete mixes. RHA is produced from the burning of rice husk which is a byproduct of rice milling. The ash content is about 18-22% by weight of the rice husks. Research has shown that concrete made with RHA as a partial cement substitute to levels of 10% to 20% by weight of cement has superior performan...

Climate adaptation of existing reinforced concrete structures in coastal areas

This work focuses on assessing costs and effectiveness of climate adaptation strategies for existing reinforced concrete structures subject to chloride penetration and climate change. We will study on existing reinforced concrete structures built in France at different years under different building codes. Concerning environmental actions, we considered historical meteorological data and two cl...

Strength of Fine Concrete Used in Textile Reinforced Concrete by Changing Water-Binder Ratio

Recently, the abnormal climate phenomenon has enlarged due to the global warming. As a result, temperature variation is increasing and the term is being prolonged, frequency of high and low temperature is increasing by heat wave and severe cold. Especially for reinforced concrete structure, the corrosion of reinforcement has occurred by concrete crack due to temperature change and the durabilit...
